Meet The Founder
LaKeysha Jean is a Creative Writer and firm believer in the power of affirming sentiment to heal wounded hearts. She was inspired by God to create Speak To The King Greeting Card Inspo for Men of Color during quarantine 2020 after grieving the untimely death of George Floyd. The kinship tears that she shed for Floyd upended grief and resentment that she subconsciously harbored towards her Father for his absence due to incarceration during the critical years of her adolescence . While the world was morally outraged, she felt convicted for becoming comfortable with dismissing the value of black men to community and family. She turned pain into purpose by creating a greeting card brand that forges forgiveness and healing within broken relationships with Men of Color using art and unconditional words of affirmation.
